Students need to finish their flocabulary packet by tomorrow

Finished reading Chapter 3 "Esperanza RIsing" and need to answer Chapter 3 questions for tomorrow. 

Welcome to the 2nd semester! Students are half way through their last middle school year! :) Today we introduced a new vocabulary unit. This would be unit 9 "Back in the Jam" I have attached it. They are responsible for completing exercises D & E. Assessment will be Friday. Also, we cont. "Esperanza Rising" we are in the middle of Chapter 3 (Los Higos) Students should have chapters 1-2 questions already completed. Those are attached as well. 

We have started our new class book "Esperanza Rising" Students will be encouraged to compare and contrast this book with the last book "The Witch of Blackbird Pond" Both stories have somewhat of a similar story line. I am having issues posting the chapters on line but I have found the audio chapters so I will be posting those as we are reading. When the issue of scanning in the chapters is resolved, you will also find those here.
